New Email Subject Macro.

The message queue monitor feature supports customized email subject text. Several macro values were already supported, but we have now added the &JOBID macro. When used, the subject line will contain the job identifier information for the message that is issuing the message. This will be in the form of NNNNNN/UUUUUUUUUU/JJJJJJJJJ where N=Job Number, U=User Profile and J=Job Name. This can then be easily used in a WRKJOB command to work with the job that issued the message. Check the documentation that prints during upgrade install or PTF install processing for restrictions on how this macro should be used.

Option added to message queue monitor to show actual message date and time on the alert.

When a customer has systems running in different timezones, depending on the date and time stamp given to the email message can create confusion. We have now added an option on the message queue monitor to add the actual message date and time information to the alert text.

The fix for this problem is available as a PTF. This PTF can only be installed on a Release 4.08 version of iEventMonitor. The correction is available in PTF package IEPTF409. E-mail us and request the PTF package.

A time delay message queue monitor override has been added.

Additional control over email identification fields.

Effective date: March 13, 2015

As originally released, iEventMonitor used some standard values for the email sender's name and the email subject line. With this change, the customer can now set these globally on their system. This will help them to differentiate when there are multiple systems being monitored or if there are multiple partitions involved.
